Suspect case:
Signs and symptoms compatible with Ebola disease and an epidemiologic risk factor within 21 days before the onset of symptoms.
Confirmed case:
Laboratory-confirmed diagnostic evidence of Ebola virus infection (i.e., though molecular and/or serologic testing).
