Summary
Definition
Dermatite disidrótica é uma forma de dermatite crônica, que afeta as mãos e os pés. Ela é caracterizada por agrupamentos recorrentes de vesículas medindo 1 a 2 mm nas palmas das mãos, solas dos pés, aparecendo muitas vezes na face medial e lateral dos dedos e pododáctilos.[1] As vesículas persistem por 2 a 3 semanas e retornam em intervalos variáveis. As erupções são acompanhadas de prurido, que pode precedê-las. Ponfolix é um termo frequentemente usado como sinônimo de dermatite disidrótica, mas alguns defendem que o termo deve ser reservado para erupções mais agudas e intensas de grandes bolhas nas mãos e nos pés.[2][Figure caption and citation for the preceding image starts]: Eczema disidróticoFotografia cortesia do Dr. Spencer Holmes; usado com permissão [Citation ends].
