As alterações do estado mental relacionadas ao HIV e os transtornos cognitivos associados têm consequências profundas para pessoas vivendo com HIV e seus cuidadores.

Comorbidades psiquiátricas são altamente prevalentes entre pessoas vivendo com HIV.
