Improvement in serum rapid plasma reagin (RPR) titre and syphilis CSF measures: there is poor-quality evidence that in people with neurosyphilis and HIV, intravenous ceftriaxone treatment was associated with a significantly greater decline in serum RPR titres compared with penicillin-G (benzylpenicillin) therapy, but there was no difference in CSF measures between the groups.[105]
