[B Evidence]Symptom severity and lung function: there is medium-quality evidence that when added to an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS), tiotropium improves symptoms and lung function in patients with inadequately controlled asthma. Its effects appear to be equivalent to those seen with the addition of salmeterol. [87] [50]
